“ We would have given it four stars if it based on the second visit at which we ordered Taiwanese Spicy Hot Soup and Sliced Beef. Both items underwhelmed us as we had high expectation given by our first visit. The soup was too spicy and the slice beef was lack in flavor. We really enjoyed House Special Hot Soup and Holy Cow on our first visit highly recommended. The soup had a very clean refreshing flavor, and the holy cow had this tender and jelly like texture, and chilly oil flavor. We finished every bit of it. ”

Alec and the staff are always very welcoming and even remember me when I eat there. Highly recommend. It gets real busy on weekends though because its so good. Show up before 6 to ensure a tablethere arent many! Also. the spicy isnt that spicy, but the flaming is........very spicy. Youve been warned. ”

I moved to Alaska and love to cook, Ive been trying to recreate the tomato beef broth for 4 years, it has this aromatic flavor I cant place for the life of me, almost like a curry but not... I kind of think it might be some kind of artificial tomato flavor or some tomato extract that gives it that flavor.. idk but I hope the owner chef sees this and emails me or something cause I really would like to taste it again! ”
